Though Houston, Texas, raised her, Karla spread her wings and landed in Idaho in 2019. Alex, her husband, and their pint-sized explorer, Penelope, enjoy exploring the mountains and hidden treasures in Idaho. Did you know? Karla had her own moment in the spotlight, but not as a singer – she was part of the action in one of the longest operas ever, Richard Wagner's Gotterdammerung, at the Houston Grand Opera!
