For over 100 years, we have been promoting Christian education in the Eden-Hazelton community. We are pleased to continue our education ministry for preschool-aged children in our community.
We believe that each child is precious to God; therefore, we consider the children entrusted to our care an important responsibility. Children need to feel safe, secure, nurtured, and loved before they can learn.
Alongside rapid growth in neurons and brain development, the early years of a child's life are marked by lively energy, enthusiasm, and curiosity. During this phase, there is notable and significant growth in intellect, physique, sociability, emotions, and spirituality. To encourage this growth, we embrace the holistic development of the 'whole child,' as Proverbs 22:6 advises, "Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it."
Our program cultivates a harmonious blend of learning and play, integrating a balanced mix of child-led activities and short, focused teacher-led sessions. Crafted to engage children through dynamic teaching techniques encompassing science, math, technology, engineering, art, Bible memory, and songs, we aim for an active, captivating experiential learning that embraces a diverse array of subjects. Our classroom is tailored to align with each child's developmental stage, emphasizing hands-on and play-based experiences. This approach allows children to explore their interests and develop independence while benefiting from structured learning moments that enhance their understanding and skills, fostering positive self-esteem and an enjoyable learning journey.
At Trinity EEC, we are committed to developmentally appropriate practices and attunement to each child's needs, ensuring a supportive and nurturing environment where every child can thrive. Our focus on attunement means we respond to each child's unique emotional and developmental cues. Infused with Christian values, our program integrates weekly chapel sessions, stories, songs, and the influence of caring adults to foster spirituality and values. These immersive activities help children not only grow spiritually but also share these insights with their families, creating a lasting impact on their lives.
